Work Experience

My experience combines research, teaching, laboratory practice, and hands-on engineering exposure across academia and industry.

Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant

Koç University, Istanbul, Turkey
September 2021 – February 2023

Research Worked on a novel textile drying technique via pulse vacuum modulation.
Teaching Support Served as Teaching Assistant for Physics 101 Lab, Engineering Mechanics (Dynamics), and Computer Aided Design (CAD).

This role strengthened my ability to work across research and teaching simultaneously, while improving my communication, laboratory coordination, and technical explanation skills.

Lab Engineer

CECOS University of IT and Emerging Sciences, Peshawar, Pakistan
February 2020 – October 2021

Laboratory Responsibilities
  • Designed, demonstrated, and conducted experiments in the Fluid Mechanics Lab.
  • Handled operation, maintenance, and inventory management of laboratory equipment and consumables.
  • Prepared and graded laboratory exams.
  • Participated in the selection and upgrading of laboratory equipment as required.
Subjects Taught
  • Fluid Mechanics Lab
  • Workshop Practice Lab
  • Engineering Mechanics and Thermodynamics (Theory)
  • Building Services – II (Theory)
  • Instrumentation and Control Engineering (Theory)

This role gave me strong practical experience in laboratory instruction, equipment management, technical preparation, and academic support within mechanical engineering education.

Internee

Pakistan Locomotive Factory, Risalpur, Pakistan
July 2016 – August 2016

As a mechanical engineering internee, I gained hands-on industrial exposure in assembling, production, engineering design, welding, manual machining, CNC machining, and CNC programming.

This experience gave me direct contact with real production workflows and strengthened my understanding of how engineering design connects to manufacturing practice.
